Athlete Registration Bib
These will be provided to you by your Club Registrar once all fees have been paid. The registration bib may need to be moved from a Club shirt to a Centre shirt, so we do not recommend sewing the bib directly onto the shirt. Instead, you can protect the edges of the bib by sewing them over or using non sewing webbing tape (available from Spotlight etc). The bib can then be secured to your shirt by safety pins (one in each corner). Keep the bib as it may be needed next year.
Shoes
Shoes are compulsory in all events.
The wearing of spikes is optional for athletes in the U12 to U18 age groups. Before an athlete is permitted to wear spikes at any competition, they must first apply to their club for permission. The athlete must be able to show they understand that spikes can pose a safety risk to others and agree to conditions that keep everyone safe. From U20's and upwards don't require such licence but exspected to ahear to Kingsway uniform policy for safety of all athletes.
U12 - U13's may wear spike shoes for;
· Track events run entirely in lanes
· Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump and Javelin
U13 - U18's may wear spike shoes for;

Kingsway Athletics seniors club has a full uniform with multiple options for all athletes. Registering with the centre is also an agreement to wear the FULL uniform. Athletes are not permitted to wear other branded briefs, these are not the Kingsway uniform, this breaks Athletics West rules, and you may be prohibited from competing note: KA currently has a 2-year transition period from old KLAC navy blue shorts to new plain black or KA branded black shorts.
Under Athletics West competition rules, all Kingsway Athletics members must compete in the Kingsway Athletics singlet or crop top and Kingsway Athletics shorts or briefs.
